About TankTicker

A free, simple way to check fuel prices at forecourts near you.

TankTicker shows pump prices for petrol, diesel and other fuels at filling stations across the UK. Enter your postcode, and you can compare nearby stations and sort them to suit you.

It's free

TankTicker is free to use. You don't need an account and you don't need to sign up for anything.

Where the prices come from

Our prices come from the GOV.UK Fuel Finder scheme, a government service run by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Under the scheme, petrol stations across the UK must report their fuel prices within 30 minutes of any change, and the data is made available to apps and websites like ours. Each price carries a timestamp, so it's worth checking at the pump before you fill up.

If you run a station and a price looks wrong, please correct it at source through Fuel Finder. It will show here after our next update.

Fair to everyone

We show the data as published. We don't favour or criticise any retailer or brand.

Who runs it
