Cookies

The short version: TankTicker doesn't set cookies.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. Cloudflare Web Analytics doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other websites.

Settings saved in your browser

To save you typing things in again, the price finder remembers a few choices in your browser's local storage. That's a small store on your own device, and it isn't a cookie. It can hold:

• the postcode you last searched
• how you like results sorted, and how many to show per page
• display preferences, such as the colour theme and whether visual effects are on

We don't use these to identify you, and they aren't sent to us. You can clear them at any time in your browser's settings, or with the reset option in the price finder.

Other services

When you search by postcode, the price finder looks up its location using postcodes.io. Some features also use Open-Meteo for weather information. Links to other websites, including Amazon affiliate links, take you to sites with their own cookie policies.
